Recycling Paper

Procedure writing
Purpose. To provide instructions about how to make or do something.

Recycling paper
Goals
To make new paper from used paper materials.
You will need
A large bucket of warm water.
Shredded paper.
A wooden spoon.
A wire screen.
Paper towels.
Two dry towels.
A rolling pin.
Steps
Place the shredded paper into the bucket of warm water to soak.
Mix the the paper and the water with the wooden spoon.
Pour the pulp onto the wire screen and spread it out until it is smooth.
Let the extra water drain off.
Place the sheet of paper towel on the pulp and press it gently.
Lift the paper towel of the pulp.
Remove the paper from the wire screen and place it between the two towels.
Roll the rolling pin over the towels.
Remove the towels and allow the new paper to dry in a warm place.

Term 1 Week 3 Addition and Subtraction
Ms.smith bought 125 water balloons for the water fun day
Miss. Kyee bought 52 more water balloons
For a water fun day. So I had to figure out how many did
Miss. Smith and miss. Kyee buy all together
This is how I solved this problem so the problem was 125 + 52=177
So I did 100+50=150 then I did 25 + 2= 27
Then I added them all up together 150 +27= 177
That was how I got my answer 177.

So this is how i solved this problem i did 80 + 50=130
and then did 5+2= 7
then i added it all together 130+7=137
that is how i got my answer.

there are 8 pencils in a box. AJ has 15 box of pencils how many pencils are altogether ?
15 x 8=
10 x 8=80
5 x 8= 40
80 + 40= 120
to solve this problem I used place value portioning I multiplied 10 by 8 and got 80 them I multiplied 5 by 8 and got 40 as the answer then added 80 and 40 so AJ has 120 pencils.

Hi. My name is Penelope. My first day of school was exiting because I was going to a new class .
This year my I am in room 10 and my teacher is Mr. Nath I am a year 7 now. I am very exited to be in room 10.
My goals for this year are to represent the school and achieve my maths and writing.
